There's more than one element to the character. She isn't always smiling... There was a time where she actually looked strong instead of like a walking fetish ala SFV

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Is her face not super mousy there? The depth of the nose and mouth area just seems to protrude too much from the skull. I know it's stylized, but it's really odd looking to me.
Edit: I showed my husband, and he pointed out that the buns evoke the feeling of mouse ears too, which is compounding the issue.

Exactly. I mentioned this here before the whole project starts. You can not simpy throw all main streams at the same time, from a marketing perspective.
Abou the piece, I expect a lot of improvement.

This is still rough everyone, the face will be improved. This is just an early sneek peek.

I didn't want to say it. You've hinted on it. The side on shot, the way Chun's mouth pulls in at a slope, super mousy / rat-like is what i was thinking also.
It's early days, i'll probably be sticking with the PCS Chun-Li 1/3 depending on how Alpha turns out

I'm leaning towards Erick's version over PCS. So far I've preferred all of his SF statues to the PCS versions. The PCS 1/3 Chun Li should be awesome though. But Erick's will be fully sculpted. It might come down to the materials PCS use as just like before the sculpt is fantastic. And this time the facial sculpt so far looks far better too.
