I wouldn't be surprised, if there were a half decent sculpture under that lazy paint job.

This looks like a 1/2 scale in size only. They haven't accounted for the reasonable expectation that with an increase in size, comes an increase in detail.

This paint job would be great on a 32mm wargaming miniature, but on a 1/2 scale statue...

They nailed the warpaint camo pattern I'll give them that.

Apparently the $2250 price tag reflects their 10% early preorder discount. So full price on this is technically $2500.

That's a lot of cash to spend on a statue that doesn't look enough like the source material and isn't particularly realistic for the size.

I suppose it could sort of work if they deliver exactly the quality we're seeing here, but how likely do we think that is? This is a larger canvas than usual for them.

I'm not sure if it's the paint or sculpt, but the likeness looks too animated. The 1/4 PCS version blows this one away thus far.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

why do all those company insist on going bigger and bigger? Who the hell has room for a 40 inch statue for $2500? This is no p1 where you bite the bullet and get it as a bucket list buy.

Why not make it 1/4 for ~$700 so people can actually display them in the house, and more forgiven on the off likeness.

But no keep making them bigger and bigger, and let it sit in sideshow's warehouse. I guess the previous 1/3 version isn't big enough as is...
