Clayburn Moore has been working professionally as a sculptor since 1985. His beautifully executed bronzes are well known and appreciated in both the science fiction and fantasy field, as well as in galleries throughout the United States. His interest in the comic field led him to sculpt various projects, and eventually, Moore's reputation led to an association with Erik Larsen of Image Comics. This resulted in the powerful Savage Dragon resin sculpture, which was soon followed by Ripclaw for Mark Silvestri, Grifter for Jim Lee, Lady Death for Chaos! and the monstrous Pit for Dale McKeown. Clayburn Moore's corporate entity, CSMooreStudios, with design studios in Austin, Texas and Baltimore, Maryland administrated and coordinated the manufacturing and all related aspects of production from Witchblade to Kabuki and Sinful Suzi to Conan.
